Lone Survivor: The Miracle

Introduction

The two movies that I chose were Lone Survivor and Miracle. I chose to do this mashup because it combines a great war movie with one of the greatest moments in sports history. Within Lone Survivor and Miracle there are ultimate goals trying to be reached. The interesting thing is that they are both serving their country, one in war, while the others on an Olympic hockey team. I also incorporated Aerosmith's "Dream on" because that was included in the trailer for Miracle. I enjoyed the mashup because it brought out the American pride that you feel while watching both of these movies.

Above is a screenshot of my final work done in Adobe Premiere. While creating this video I used 2 trailers, one from Miracle, and the other from Lone Survivor. I mashed moments from both using the audio from the trailers to make it seem as if it was one movie trailer. I adhered to fair use policy because I used several different segments from each movie and different audio. I cut up each trailer alot to try and make the audio and video flow together despite them coming from seperate movies. Because of these reasons and the fact that this video is not for profit means that I adhered to fair use. Even though this was the case I included credits in my YouTube video to the videos used in the Parody trailer for "Lone Survivor: The Miracle" These reasons make it adhered to fair use because it was cut up a lot with various audio.
