The Animatic
Introduction:
With my animatic I focused on laying a platform for my still image video project. I decided to include images that I thought would enhance my project. By including images it brings new meaning to your audio story that had not previously existed.
How I made my animatic?
To create my animatic I imported various photos from the internet that I believed would best fit with the audio. I trimmed various images while also using transitions and the zoom options to make some of the images zoom in. I also added text to further articulate some of the words that people were saying during the interviews. There are still places where images need to be extended or shortened but I included some images to get started.
What does my animatic lack? and what plans do I have moving forward?
The animatic was more for me to get my ideas out in front of me so that when it comes to creating my still image video I have that foundation. I need to work on the transitions and the scale of the photos moving forward as I am lacking in smooth transitions. I also plan on adding effects and including more words throughout it to bring the audio connected to the video. By doing these things I will be able to enhance my video significantly. The animatic gave me a chance to see where I wanted to go and I look forward to improving it for my still image video.
